In doing a LOT of reading, I believe the issue It was working up to I believe January 16th, but as of January 18th, after getting a Microsoft update for Windows 10, this program no longer works. It uses a programĬalled Control Center 3 which operates the scanner to my printer. Anyway, I have a Brother Printer MFC-J415W model. To launch CC3 again, click Start => (All) Programs => Brother => XXX-XXXX => ControlCenter 3.I wasn't going to post this here but I'm stuck and since it was Microsoft's update that caused the issue, I thought I might see if you had any suggestions, even if it's a different software. Once the installation is complete, click FINISH. Locate and double-click on the decompressed file labeled CC3update.exe.Ĩ. NOTE: The update cannot be performed if the Brother ControlCenter is left running.Ħ. If the icon is in the system tray right-click on it and select CLOSE. Close the Brother ControlCenter3 program if it's running. Once the decompression is complete, click OK.ĥ. If prompted with a security warning, click RUN. Locate the file you downloaded CC3Up… and double-click on it. Once the file has been downloaded, you will need to complete the following steps to install it.ġ.
